As the renewable energy market gains momentum worldwide, the emergence of low carbon hydrogen has captured the attention of the energy sector as a promising green alternative for countries. While still in its early stages, many nations have started to explore this option as a means to decarbonize their economies. Brazil, in particular, possesses several factors that indicate its potential to become a significant player in the global hydrogen market.
This presentation aims to introduce the audience to the topic of hydrogen, covering its value chain, production methods, color classifications of hydrogen, strategic industries and sectors that can benefit from its use, production cost comparisons, and some opportunities for the Brazilian market.
By providing an overview of hydrogen's role in the energy sector, the presentation seeks to familiarize the audience with its current stage of evolution, potential implementation methods, and various business models that could be explored in Brazil. The ultimate goal is to encourage the development of the hydrogen market in Brazil and explore opportunities for the country to take a leading role in this sustainable energy frontier.
