Brazil is setting new records in renewable energy, especially in solar power. In early 2025, the country is expected to exceed 45 GW of installed solar capacity, maintaining strong momentum after reaching 40 GW in late 2024. With decentralized solar systems accounting for over 70% of the total capacity, Brazil stands out as a prime example of successful distributed generation.
The smarter E South America 2025, including its conferences Intersolar, ees, Power2Drive, and Eletrotec+EM-Power, brings together energy experts, innovators, and policymakers from across Latin America. The event addresses the most pressing topics in the energy transition: solar energy, storage solutions, green hydrogen, grid infrastructure, and electric mobility.
