Jobson Modena, Electrical Engineer and Director of GUISMO Engenharia, is a prominent professional in the field of lightning protection. He is a member of the Brazilian Committee for Electricity at ABNT and coordinates the Study Commission responsible for revising the ABNT NBR 5419 standard. He represents Brazil on the international IEC TC-81 committee (Lightning Protection). Jobson is an official ABNT instructor and a postgraduate professor at several renowned institutions, such as Instituto MAUÁ, UNIPOTÊNCIA, IPOG, FACENS, and UNIP. He actively participates as a speaker at technical events such as ICLP, SIPDA, GROUND, and ILPS. He is the author of the Manual for the Use of SPDs and co-author of the revised 5th edition of the classic Electrical Installations by Ademaro Cotrim. He also works as a technical consultant for companies, focusing on process standardization and the implementation of electrical safety measures against lightning.

Graduated in Physics from UFPE - Master's in Applied Physics from USP's Physics Institute - PhD from INPE - Post-doctorate from IAG-USP - Internship at the University of Florida Gainsville campus. Worked in engineering companies as a project coordinator and consultant in the field of protection against atmospheric discharges. Participated in the team that drafted the first version of NBR 5419. He was a professor at the UFMS Physics Institute. He is currently CEO of EPL Empresa Produtora de Inovações Tecnológicas and YANSA SCIENCE Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento. He works with fieldmill networks for issuing fall alerts in open areas (NBR 16785/2019).

Hélio Eiji Sueta, Electrical Engineer, holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (EPUSP). He is currently the Deputy Head of the Scientific Division of Energy Planning, Analysis, and Development at the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE) of USP. He participates in standardization committees, currently serving as the secretary of CE 64.10 (Protection of Structures against Lightning) and as the Brazilian Member of IEC TC 81 - Protection against Lightning.
