Mr. Luke Hu co-founded Electroder, a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer specializing in battery cell design and development. He is currently focusing on building the company's global business and advising Electroder's clients on planning and executing battery electrode and cell assembly development projects. Mr. Hu has been leading his team completing various cell R&D projects, developing advanced software tools, and building new cell development process. Under his leadership, Electroder joined the Global Battery Alliance as its first member focusing on battery design and development in 2022. Mr. Hu had two decades of experience in manufacturing and technology, and held a variety of management roles globally. He graduated with an MBA degree from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree of engineering from Beijing University of Technology.

Dr. Roberto Valer is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Huawei Digital Power Brazil, responsible for technical leadership in Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications. Before joining Huawei, he was a researcher at renowned solar energy institutes, including the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo (IEE/USP - Brazil), the Centre for Renewable Energy at Engineering University of Peru. He holds a Ph.D. in Energy. Roberto has also contributed to the development of national technical standards and served as the rapporteur of ABNT NBR 16274, which establishes guidelines for photovoltaic commissioning in Brazil.

With a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering and Business Administration from RWTH Aachen in Germany, Timo focuses on helping customers translate field data into insights that improve battery performance and reliability.

An electrical engineer with a degree from the Federal University of Itajubá and a specialist degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, he has worked at ISA ENERGIA BRASIL for 18 years, currently as manager of the Expansion Planning and Studies area. He has experience in planning studies, sector regulation, project structuring and feasibility and has led initiatives to implement new technologies in the transmission system under the company's concession, including the first large-scale battery project installed in the Brazilian transmission system at SE Registro and the first FACTS SSSC at SE Ribeirão Preto, both in the state of São Paulo. He also led an R&D project with IABRATE on the market's capacity to meet planned transmission works. He is also currently coordinator of ABRATE's Expansion Committee and vice-coordinator of ABSOLAR's Storage WG.
