Leapton Energy Co., Ltd. founded in 2012 and headquartered in Kobe, Japan, manufactures solar PV modules, battery energy storage systems, inverters and solar module mounting etc. After more than 13 years development, Leapton Energy solar modules production capacity reach 3GW and distributing them in over 70 countries.In 2023 Leapton established R&D teams for battery energy storage system and in the same year established the battery energy storage system production line. In 2024 Leapton established R&D teams for inverter and in 2025 established the inverter production line.That means, Leapton Energy can realize the whole system production from solar module, inverters and battery energy storage system.

Leapton Energy has been awarded 2024 PVEL Top Performer and 2025 PVEL Top Performer in solar module fields and listed in Bloomberg Tier1 for many times. The company's manufacturing is based in China, with its primary factory in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, the factory has first phase and second phase ,total landing over 100000 m².
