Danilo Perecin holds a Ph.D. in Energy Planning from USP, where he spent time as a visiting researcher at Imperial College London, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Unicamp. He is a permanent employee of the Energy Research Company (EPE). In 2025, on secondment from EPE, he assumed the position of Director of Energy at the Secretariat of Environment, Infrastructure, and Logistics (SEMIL) of the São Paulo State Government.
