What you should know about the Brazilian markets for energy storage and green hydrogen

Free Webinar

Thursday, August 3, 2023 I 11:00am BRT / 4:00pm CEST I Webinar Language: Portuguese

The Brazilian electricity market is changing. The share of renewable energy based on solar and wind power is growing and is expected to account for 50% of future electricity production. Challenges posed by fluctuating renewable sources require new approaches for managing the Brazilian electricity grid, thus creating significant opportunities for energy storage. Additionally, the decarbonization of electricity generation in the Amazon region requires the rapid deployment of solar and batteries for renewable off-grid solutions.

Furthermore, Brazil is establishing itself as a future key player in the emerging global green hydrogen sector. Due to the abundance of solar and wind resources, Brazilian green hydrogen will be among the cheapest in the world, creating exciting opportunities both for domestic use and exports to other countries.

In this webinar, as well as at this year's ees South America Conference, we will explore and discuss the latest technology and market trends for the emerging Brazilian energy storage and green hydrogen sectors. We will familiarize you with the main applications for energy storage and green hydrogen, discuss technology trends, the importance of regulatory reforms and, most importantly, business opportunities in these sectors.

During the webinar, participants can submit their questions to get them answered by the experts in the live Q&A. In addition, the recording and the speakers' presentations will be made available to all registrants after the webinar.
