Summary

It has been seven years since the Brazilian net-metering regulation (REN 482/2012) was established and the solar PV distributed generation industry still faces procedural and systemic challenges by distribution companies throughout the country. Delays, billing issues and difficulties in the connection operations are still a recurrent hurdle for entrepreneurs and consumers. How can the industry and utility companies collaborate in a positive and constructive way to help improve this situation? In this session, electricity distribution companies from different parts of Brazil will present their contributions for the positive development of solar PV distributed generation in their respective regions.
