With three parallel energy exhibitions and one special exhibition, The smarter E South America is LATAM's innovation hub for the new energy world and will take place from August 27–29, 2019 in São Paulo.
It takes a comprehensive approach to the topics of the new energy world by presenting cross-sector energy solutions and technologies. The smarter E South America creates opportunities to address all the key areas along the value chain. Focusing on the generation, storage, distribution and use of energy and the ways in which these aspects interact and can be intelligently combined, The smarter E South America brings together international stakeholders in the energy future from across the world’s most influential markets.
We are looking for future-shaping products, groundbreaking technologies, innovative projects and intelligent business models in the area of solar, storage, energy management and clean transportation. Put your innovation in the spotlight, catch the eye of your visitors and take advantage of comprehensive marketing services, networking opportunities at the AWARD Ceremony in Munich and an impressive media response. Get your pioneering work rewarded and apply now for one of the energy awards – The smarter E AWARD, Intersolar AWARD or ees AWARD 2019.
The global energy industry has been undergoing a radical transformation in recent years. Instead of large-scale, centralized nuclear and fossil fuel power stations, the energy supply of the future will be secured by millions of decentralized renewable energy plants and storage systems as well as consumers acting as “prosumers”. Solar and wind energy are becoming key pillars of tomorrow’s energy world.
Three years ago, global investment in renewable energy reached the sum of $329 billion, surpassing investment in fossil fuels for the first time. The rise of renewables is bringing about a transition in the structure of our energy supply. In order for the fluctuating amounts of electricity generated from renewable sources of energy such as solar and wind power to be used efficiently, the electricity, heating, cooling and mobility sectors, which once operated in isolation, will increasingly converge thanks to the use of cogeneration, electrical heating systems, electric mobility, hybrid power plants and other technologies. Like innovative energy storage systems, these new solutions mean that energy no longer has to be consumed as soon as it is generated.
