Nelson Falcão has been Senior Director, LATAM Business Development at Nextracker Brazil since the beginning of its operations in the country in 2015, accumulating from 2013 to 2023 the leadership of the energy business development area for the Flex group. He has extensive experience in the production chain of equipment for electrical energy generation, transmission and distribution systems. During his career, he held important positions at ABB, Cegelec Alstom and Cooper Power Systems, in Brazil and Canada.
Nelson is also Vice-President of Supply Chain of the board of directors of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy). He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the USP Polytechnic School in 1980 and specialized in Reactive Compensation, in Sweden, in 1983.
